DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVES:
To understand the fundamentals of Ayurvedic Medicine and its holistic approach towards health 2.
2. To acquire in-depth knowledge of doshas, dhatus and malas to assess constitution and state of balance.
3. Learn to design personalized treatment plans, including lifestyle changes and wellness practices.
4. To give tools for the elaboration of balancing plans to consultants according to constitution (vata/pitta/kapha), imbalance and/or seasons of the year.
5. Explore the application of medicinal herbs and natural remedies in Ayurvedic therapeutic practice. Advise on the use of oils, aromatherapy and phytotherapy.
6. Develop practical skills in Ayurvedic therapies, such as the technique of Abhyanga Massage as a therapy to accompany the healing process.
7. To understand the importance of the mind-body connection and how it influences health according to the Ayurvedic perspective.
8. To promote ethics and effective communication in the therapist-patient relationship.
9. Integrate Ayurvedic Medicine with complementary health approaches to achieve holistic outcomes.
10. To prepare participants to be Ayurvedic Medicine Therapists, capable of guiding others to lasting wellness.
